What is the Accidental Damage Cover?

Terms & Conditions
Please review the following Terms & Conditions before purchasing the Accidental Damage Cover (ADC) for your Marlyn drone. A purchase of the ADC will implicate your agreement with the terms stipulated below.
1. Coverage
The Accidental Damage Cover extends the warranty coverage of the Manufacturer's Warranty to include accidental damage that occurs during the time period that the Manufacturer's Warranty of relevant Marlyn bundle is active. 'Accidental damage' refers to breakage or failure resulting from incidents not attributable to manufacturing defects. The following examples of accidental damage are covered:
- Incidents caused by improper flight planning.
- Breakages due to improper handling.
- Breakages due to improper execution of manual landing.
The Exclusions of the ADC coverage are outlined in Clause 4 'Exclusions'.
In order for the Accidental Damage Cover (ADC) to be considered valid, it is necessary to activate the license in the Atmos system.
2. Payment
The ADC also requires the payment of a fixed amount of €2,800 to be considered valid. This fee is non-refundable and grants the customer coverage as outlined in these Terms.
3. Deductible/Replacement Contribution
In the event of damage covered by the ADC, the customer is responsible for a deductible/replacement contribution. This contribution amounts to 20% of the repair cost, with a minimum of €500 and a maximum of €4,500. This contribution is payable by the customer before any repair or replacement is initiated.
4. Exclusions
The Accidental Damage Cover does not apply to:
- Superficial damage not affecting the structural integrity or performance of the drone such as scratches, small cracks or holes.
- Normal consumables such as propellers & batteries.
- Loss or theft of the drone equipment.
- Damage to the drone equipment which is judged by Atmos to be intentional.
- Damages resulting from operating the equipment outside of normal specified operating conditions, such as high/low temperatures, rain, snow, fog, altitude, or extreme winds.
- Any damages resulting from modifying the drone hardware outside of the instructions provided by Atmos.
- Atmos is also not liable for any loss of data or business interruption, nor does it cover any damages or claims by third parties.
5. General
Your purchase of ADC indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Atmos reserves the right to update these terms, and any disputes will be subject to applicable laws.
